Manufacturing Assembly Job Description

  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
  • Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed sections
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Ability to retain information regarding standard assembly/disassembly procedures

A strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to read an inch tape measure

Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools

CNC Operator  Job Description

Our company is currently seeking a skilled CNC operator to operate machines that are responsible for shaping metal. The right candidate will have experience operating a CNC machine and must be able to perform standard measurements on tools, fixtures, etc. We are seeking an individual who is detail oriented, can work with minimal supervision and has experience using a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain computer numerically controlled machines.
  • Set up and inspect parts.
  • Communicate with co-workers to coordinate production processes.
  • Measure, record, or control quality or quantity of products or materials.
  • Operate computers to control the machines.
